| so as for updating goes... work work work blah blah blah i must be doing something right tho at work... i am now located at the circle pines frattallone's ace, in an assistant store manager in training position... so by juneish i will be a full fledged ass. man. boo yah, six months employed, two promotions... next stop store manager! then on to district manager! soon enough i will be able to quit herberger's and only work my one job... on another note, teri and i are currently looking for a town home to buy but we'll just see where that goes... if we dont' get to buy, we will just rent another apartment for a year or so and try again. umm... yeah, we're still getting married in July so give me an email if'n you would like an invite and such... pinko_eh@yahoo.com | | |
| so in keeping with my trend of every two months... not a whole lot has changed in my life except for my promotion at the hardware store... i'm now a department manager at Frattallone's Ace Hardware in Arden Hills... boo yah so i'm the plumbing guy, and for the most part when people come in with their things i can usually help them. but one person came in with this type of tubing called PEX (cross-linked polyethylene ) tubing that his cabin was roughly plumbed with and it happens to be the same thing that my dad used in our basement and all through the house for the radiant heat in the floors... so i called dad up from work at like 2 in the afternoon and asked him his advice, he told me what the customer could do and we helped the guy out. i think it made his afternoon on another note, i'm still at Herberger's but now i'm part time only working aboot 3 days a week, with the exception of last week and the stupid freakin holiday season... who stays open until eleven goddamned o clock on a wednesday?? oh, it's herberger's. so last week i worked four nights in a row there making those four days each 16 hour workdays... so that sucked a bit... soon xmas will be over and all that crap will go back to normal.. umm... i'm all out of things to write because work is pretty much all i do... | | |
| so.... here i am down in roseville... not much to report, work can be fun some days and hellacious other days so, in spite of it all, i've decided to apply for lab jobs with some placement company.. hopefully it'll work out because starting is $13 an hour and right meow that would be freakin sweet because i would get away from herbergers and make more moneys so i can pay for stuff and what not... those extra $3/hr works out to an extra $120 per week!!! bonus!! but yeah, megan is helping me with the resume because i suck at that... hopefully it will work out great and i'll be more satisfied with work because i do more work than the freakin department manager and get paid like shit.. but, on the other side, i love my job at the hardware store just north of where i live, even tho i've been in hardware for 8 years, i realized i love it. the only bad thing about this job i'm applying for is that it's in minnetonka which is about a 45 min commute but for the extra pay it will be worth it! next week is when the bison play the gophers at the metrodome, i'm sooooo excited but at the same time i feel so bad,.. i was supposed to talk to teri's manager to see if she could get the day off but i'm retarded and forgot, so she's scheduled. she talked to her manager but i dont' know what came of it, i'm going to feel horrible if she can't go because it's my fault... i bought a new car, a 2006 ford fusion it's the freakin bomb! i love it soooo much i got hella financing through ford motor credit where i have no interest for 72 months! thats 6 years!! boo yah!! anyway, that's my life in a nutshell, still in unfamiliar region with no friends other than teri, so it kinda sucks but it will be worth it in the end... peace out | | |
| so here i am in the ramsey county public library using the internet because we don't have it yet at our new place.... but on the other hand, we didn't sign up for cable, but we have that for free
so our new place is pretty great, with the pools and all, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet, a little hard to get used to when i had gotten used to living next to two interstates... but, the kitties are seeming to love the new place, they run around a bit more than they did in fargo because there is more space..
as far as the job thing goes, i'm feeling pretty good about working at the herberger's here, and i'm pretty sure teri likes it as well, it's not quite the same as working in fargo but when the store has 350 employees it gets hard to know everyone who works there... i do miss working in the hardware business tho, i think i might try to work something out so i can do a little of that too once i find a store i like... there are a helluva lot of hardware stores in this area! hardware hanks, true values, a couple of do it best, and of course, many many ace hardwares..
but it looks like my time is expiring on this computer so i best be gettin movin, if anybody is ever in the twin cities metro, my number hasn't changed so gimme a call!!
-Peace Out | | |
| well, it's been quite a while since i done did went and updated, but now i guess i actually feel like it... partially because teri and i are moving to roseville in 3 days and we won't be having any internet for roughly a month or so... i guess i'm excited to move away from fargo, but then again it's going to be really really weird because the only person i will know down in the cities is teri. i'll be working probably all the time so i won't really have much of a life anyway, but it will be something to get used to none the less... on the plus side, moving should be a breeze. we just brought my car down to teri's mom's house in swanville last night and then detoured into st cloud to see teri's brother tom because he crashed his motorcycle and teri wanted to make sure he was okay.. but we didn't get back into fargo until aboot 3 in the mornin so that kinda sucked... our 17 foot U-Haul should get everything we own down to roseville in one trip.. we have to be out of here by 11am on friday, and we move into our new place at 12:30 on saturday so we have some down time... then we unpack and get settled for 2 days and teri starts work on monday the 3rd and i start on the 4th.
since i'll be full time at herberger's in roseville, i'll mostly be working days so i'll probably get another job for some evenings and weekends after things settle a bit... probably at the roseville ace hardware if i have any choice about it...
on another note, since i don't leave my apartment much and will probably continue to do so once we move, if there is anybody who would like an invite to our wedding (July 14, 2007) you go right ahead and get me your address and i'll put you on the list. what we figured we'll do is send out a christmas card to everyone we're inviting as our "save the date thinggies" so hopefully that will work out well..
But i spose, about time to roll out to work and stuff... to all that i don't get to say goodbye to in fargo, so long, and we'll miss you!
